The Lab
THE LAB
SomaLabs is a wellness research and product studio. We operate on the principle that the body keeps the score — that chronic stress is not a feeling but a physical state encoded into the human hardware, requiring technical recalibration to restore peak performance.
Our methodology is informed by published research across polyvagal theory, somatic psychology, and psychophysiology. Protocol v1.0 translates these frameworks into a structured, repeatable self-guided practice. It has not been independently clinically tested.
THE METHODOLOGY
SomaLabs specialises in bottom-up neuro-regulation: interventions that work through the body's physical structures — breath, movement, sound, and vagal stimulation — to influence the brain and restore autonomic flexibility.
THE MISSION
To recode the human hardware. To give high-performers a technical solution to a physiological problem.
THE SCIENCE
All protocols are grounded in five foundational bodies of peer-reviewed research:
- Polyvagal Theory (Porges, 2011)
- Somatic Experiencing (Levine, 1997)
- The Body Keeps the Score (van der Kolk, 2014)
- Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Ogden et al., 2006)
- The Polyvagal Theory in Therapy (Dana, 2018)
